I’d just like to say a warm congratulations to Wardy and his soon-to-be-literal Missus; he’s only gone and popped the question!
Steve’ll be the third of ‘The Gang™’ to tie the knot (after trailblazers Ben & Emily showed us all the way last year, and Marsh & Sal will this year). Who’d have guessed it eh, a Liverpool fan marrying an Evertonian. It must be love. As he said himself when he told me the good news; first he got a promotion at work, then they beat Chelski in the Cup, now this! What a week…

Steve and Eve Ward, it certainly has a nice ring to it. Speaking of nice rings, I hope you chose wisely. Was it hint drop-based or did you just go for it and choose your own? Fair play if so.
Well good on you mate, it couldn’t happen to a nicer bloke. I’m sure I speak on behalf of all your mates when I say I wish you both all the very best and I’m sure you’ll be extremely happy together. You proper grown up you.
