New Trailer Looks Super

I saw the new Superman Returns trailer for the first time today and I just cannot wait until it’s out over here. I’ll have to though, sigh.
It shows pretty much all the main things you’d want to see: The Daily Planet; the Fortress of Solitude; the new Lois (and her brat – I’m yet to be won over with that one), Perry, Jimmy and Lex Luthor; plus Superman kicking some ass and ripping wings off planes etc. As you do. The music is what does it for me though; real spine-tingling stuff, puts a huge smile on my face.
In short, it looks fantastic. I can’t remember the last time I got this excited about a film; I know, I’m probably really sad and geeky etc, blah blah, I don’t care.
Say what you like; I still maintain there are worse role models in this World than Superman!

Yeah, I’m sure it won’t be the same without Christopher Reeve and his hair curl (and different-sided partings when he’s Clark or Supes), but I’m gonna give Brandon Routh a chance. That’s big of me I know, still, he can’t be worse than Dean Cain…

Dean Cain as Superman was a bit like George Lazenby as James Bond… just didnt work. Christopher Nolan wasnt that bad in Batman begins (though still no match for Michael Keaton) so who knows – he may cut the proverbial mustard.

Speaking of Bond, the new trailer for Casino Royale’s out now, let’s see what Daniel Craig brings to the mix. But that’s a whole other article…
