Here We Go Again

I’ve been away on my jollies for two weeks (one week away in Corfu, the other spent destroying decorating my new house) and during that time have been tinternet free. I will be posting about me hols shortly. But first this.
I’m currently in the middle of catching up on the old blogs and checking my logs etc when I found a link to my site from someone who’d posted this on Joshuaink:
Another site that I find very oxton-like is http://www.peminoz.com/. The flow of the site – set by the background image – is nearly exactly the same and the CSS is also built after this site its CSS (order by which the selectors are declared, many selectors have the same properties applied, and the last part commented out is an exact copy of the “livesearch results” part of John’s CSS) ... It’s not a direct copy, but certainly a mental / look-and-feel copy.
Certainly a mental / look-and-feel copy. Sigh. Apart from not making sense grammatically, what the hell is this guy on about?! “Many selectors have the same properties applied”... Is he serious?? Okay, I admit, my divs have ‘width’, ‘background’, ‘color’ etc properties… How on Earth can someone seriously think that is copying, ha ha.
How I lay out my CSS will possibly be similar to the way people like Zeldman, Eric Meyer, Molly etc do, because they are the books I read when I was ‘learning’ CSS, and in fact am still reading; surely that’s the same as a lot of people out there, Oxton included. My CSS changes from project to project so I haven’t got a method yet, I think I’m happy with one way then change it completely the next site I build.
As for the ‘exact copy’ of the live search results, well yeah I use Rob Sable’s excellent rss_live_search plug-in for Textpattern so it probably is exactly the same, and I’m sure the… current count… 4076 people who have also used the plug-in’s sites will be similar too. And?
It’s lucky I’m restless; another reason I haven’t posted much recently, other than being away, is that I’ve been working on Peminoz V_2.Uh_0h (working title.. yeah yeah). Hopefully that’ll be nearly ready for release so it’ll stop a lot of the cocks idiots. Well, until they realise I designed it using a computer, copying everyone else.
“Order by which the selectors are declared”... I mean…

I’m sorry but that is the most boring entry/update ever!
Where are the scandalous sun sea and sangria tales from your hols? Or even amusing DIY disaster tales?
Am very disappointed

What the…??
I clearly stated “I will be posting about me hols shortly”! Which I will be, even though I might have to make stuff up. I don’t have any hilarious DIY disasters (yet) as I’m currently taking things down and destroying rather than trying to put things up. Like spare bedroom shelves…
So stop bullying me.

I do not understand a word of your last post, but would be interested to hear your opinion on Charlie and Maria’s affair in Coronation Street

That Charlie Stubbs is a nasty man. It’ll all end in tears if you ask me. Still ugly mouthy bird with a horrible kid and an even more horrible family or Maria!

I wouldnt worry about it. I can see mild similarities… MILD similarities between you and JI. Nothing exactly identical, in fact very far from it. The only real similarity I see is in 2 the column layout alond with… oh, about another million websites on the internet.
Dont worry about them muppets, Stu. They dont know what they’re on about.
